RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gather requirements, conceptualize, design, and build automated analytics workflows, intuitive data visualization, dashboards, and reports.
• Evaluate existing templates/tools and participate in design, development, and testing to enhance functionality and capabilities.
• Write complex SQL queries against multiple databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) with the help of complex joins on various tables.
• Timely completing data mining, cleansing, and modeling transactional and financial data from various data sources (i.e., Oracle, Teradata, Excel, Snowflake, etc.) that tie to/match GL account/financial Statements.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt communication of complex business logic and technical requirements to a non-technical audience and promptly address issues, concerns, and questions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
•1 to 5+ years of experience designing, modeling, and developing different workflows using Alteryx Design studio.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design, VBA, and Microsoft Excel Macros.
• Ability to perform/develop data mapping (data definitions and business rules, mapping requirements to source data, etc.), data profiling, and business process maps.
• Visualization skills/exposure to PowerBI is an asset.
• Understanding and implementing QA and various testing processes in the project.
• Prior experience in retail/wholesale companies for an apparel-based industry is a plus.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computers, B.Sc in Computers, or equivalent.
